Three Super Impactful Books for Entrepreneurs

There’s so many books for entrepreneurs that has impacted my life in a positive manner. Here are three that we suggest.

Number one, and this is not necessarily in order, but number one, The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. Love it. Amazing book. I promise you, you can read this in a day or two. Every single entrepreneur and artist needs to read this book. It’s amazing. The War of Art by Steven Pressfield is absolutely amazing. One of my coaches shared this with me and I believe, even though it’s a small book, I believe it’s the most highlighted book I possess. I think I highlighted more stuff out of that book than any other book I’ve ever read.

Number two, pretty popular answer, I would imagine, but that is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Classic, there’s a lot of stuff in there that really helped me. For example, one thing I needed to know at the time that I read it was the whole concept of obstacles, problems, challenges, are assets for your benefit. This is something that I needed to hear.

The concept is, that he shares in Think and Grow Rich, the concept is that every single challenge, obstacle, punch in the face, kick to the shins, just obstacle that you have in your life is actually a disguised asset for your benefit. It’s something to help you think differently about where you’re going, think differently about how you show up in the world, and it’s there, it’s designed to help you. This is why I’ve noticed that before every major break-through in our business, we’ve had a breakdown. We’ve had an absolute breakdown. It’s something that you learn through that concept and through just being an entrepreneur for a few years.

You learn that you don’t run away from challenges, you realize they’re there for a reason. This is a big difference between people that create success and people who don’t. Most people, they see a challenge as, that’s the time to crumble, that’s the time to say, “You know what? What was I thinking? How could I possibly create success?” That’s how most people think, whereas a successful entrepreneur sees the challenge, same challenge, and says, “Okay, what am I supposed to learn from this? What can I learn from this? How is this a good thing? How can I change how I think because of this happening?” I have had really tough challenges happen in my life, and I’m sure as many of you, and looking back, they needed to happen. They needed to happen to get me to think differently about my business, about my life, about my relationships, about my bank account, about money, whatever, right? They were there to actually help me, and I’m very grateful for them, but you’ve got to look at things that way.

In the video below I share the third of the books for entrepreneurs we are suggesting in this post and that third book is one that altered the way I thought about a lot of things, I also happen to know that the third book I mention is also one of my buddy Eric Worre’s fave books for entrepreneurs as well.
