network marketing recruiting

Want to make amends and get your family and friends to love the network marketing profession?

In this training I will share 2 simple steps for undoing the damage of spamming.

How To Sign Up Family & Friends You Once Spammed

Maybe you’ve gone to some of your friends and family members, chased them, begged them, and bugged them to join your company. Or maybe you’ve hyped them and spammed them.

If so, here are two things you must do.

1. Apologize

Number one, if you care about the relationship, I would actually reach out to them and I would apologize WITHOUT an addiction to pitching them again.

If you want to ever nullify an apology like this, just apologize and say, “Hey, I just wanted to apologize. I came at your hard about my opportunity, but it really has blown up like crazy. You really should join.”

That totally nullifies the apology. It was absolutely a waste of time.

Here’s what I would recommend saying:

“Hey, I just wanted to reach out to you. I just wanted to apologize. When I started this business, I didn’t know what I was doing, and I kind of came at you hard, and I tricked you into that meeting.”

Say the different things that you said, and then just say, “Hey listen, I treasure our relationship, and I just wanted to say I apologize.”

The apology has to have no pitch. No, “But you really could make money,” or, “You really could lose weight.”

If there’s no catch to that apology, and they don’t accept it, then my caring about the relationship definitely lessens.

If someone doesn’t accept an apology, and it really is heartfelt without any kind of pitch, without any catch.

Here would be another catch, “Hey, I just wanted to apologize,” and then you kind of weasel this in and you say, “I just thought you’d support me.”

That’s NOT an apology. That’s a pitch.

Don’t make them feel guilty or try to shame them, or try to wag your finger at them.

How To Sign Them Up

A lot of times, though, people ask this question “How do I make amends?” But they’re really asking, “How do I take someone that I’ve been horrible to, and sign him up anyway?”

I wouldn’t be addicted to that.

If you’ve been horrible to someone, if you’ve really spammed them, or chased them, begged them, bugged them, hyped them, shamed them, guilted them …. it unfortunately what gives network marketing a bad name.

But, no one is turned off by network marketing.

No one says, “I see a business structure where you can get paid to refer people, and paid off their efforts as well. I don’t like it.” No one is turned off by the infrastructure. No one is turned off by the profession. They’re not turned off by networking marketing.

They’re turned off by network marketers.

Because it’s the network marketers that hype them, spam them, beg them, bug them, chase them, lie to them, trick them. All those different things.

We don’t have to do that.  You can stand powerfully for the profession, not lie, not tell them it’s easy, not tell them they’ll get rich overnight.

And, you don’t have to hype them and make baloney promises. You just don’t have to.

If you’re like, “How do I recruit those people that I’ve totally turned off and they hate me now?”  I wouldn’t be addicted to that.

2. Go Find NEW People

Go find new people. There’s all kinds of places. If you’re like, “I don’t know where to find human beings,” we have a free audio for you here.

It’s 29 Sources of Leads so you never run out of people to talk to ever again. So, if you do not possess a human detector, and you’re unable to locate other human beings to speak to about your product/service/opportunity, you may want to download that audio.

It’s a two step process. Apologize with no addiction to the re-pitch, or shaming them, or guilting them, or saying, “I thought you’d support me,” or any of that kind of stuff. Then two, find new people. That would be my suggestions for you.
