How To Get Support From Family Members
What to say when family members questions how much you’ve made and how many people you’ve signed up?
Here are the 2 things that will help you gain their support.
1. Explain What You’re Doing
I would be honest and explain where you are going. Communicate what you know and what you’re doing.
I would say:
“Hey listen you don’t have to cheerlead me. You don’t have to give me back massages when I’m having a tough day. But, all I ask is don’t tackle me. I haven’t made any money and I haven’t signed up anybody. But, I’m being trained by people who have built large businesses. And, it’s not going to happen overnight, but I’m dedicated to making it happen.”
2. Keep Your Word
You’ve got to keep your word.
Don’t go back to the X-box or go back to Netflix.
A lot of times supportive spouses and supportive parents become non-supportive when they watch nothing change. Not just no results, but when they see NO action.
Keep your word. Take action and the results will come.
