“How Can I Get More Money?”
is Not the Right Question
Right now a lot of people go around asking “How can I get more money?”, this post will share with you how to get more money by changing the question.
How Can I Get More Money – the Problem
At some point someone notices a problem in their life, either they are not staying afloat with bills or they can’t afford that thing they want and they decide to look out the window and ask the question, How Can I Get More Money?
So, what’s the problem?
The problem is this is a results based question, the results in your life whether they are financial, personal, spiritual, or health are RESULTS of what your current habits and actions have been. There is a second question that will actually help guide you to a solution to the how can I get more money question.
But Ray, I want more money!
Everyone does. Repeat after me, everyone wants to have more money, so what? Why should you earn more money? The key is the word EARN. If you want to roll dice and hope to possibly increase your income, just continue hoping and playing the lottery, if you want to systematically GUARANTEE that you EARN more money, ask yourself this better question…
“How can I provide more value to the marketplace?”
You see, the value you bring to your marketplace, whatever that marketplace is, will DICTATE the amount of money you are compensated. The late Jim Rohn is the king of this point:
“You don’t get paid for the hour. You get paid for the value you bring to the hour.” – Jim Rohn
“Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.” – Jim Rohn
“The major value in life is not what you get. The major value in life is what you become.” – Jim Rohn
So, become. Become the person that provides value. Become the person that is a helper of others. Become valuable to others by helping them solve their problems. Stop wishing on the sofa that money will fly in the window to you, it won’t, and even if it did through some form of lottery or hand me down, if you lack the proper principles to care and feed that money, it will just as soon fly out the window as it did in.
How to Get More Money – A Blueprint
Start helping others solve their problems. Would you like to know how valuable you currently are in this regard? Look back at the last 7 days and ask yourself, Who did you help and how? What problems did you solve of others? Or did you just PITCH your business to people without LISTENING to them, their problems, and identifying where your product or service could help them?
You are valuable. Know that you can and are valuable to this planet and community but first you HAVE to stop asking questions like “How Can I Get More Money” and instead focus on the service of others. I don’t mean it has to be charitable works, nothing wrong with that, but it DOES need to be solving the problems of others. For many, this is the part where the “Belief” requirement comes into play.
I remember noticing people with successful sales careers as they gave a piece of free advice or service,and thinking “He’s gonna get nothing in return for that.” I didn’t understand back then how things work.

You always seem to have the right kind of content on your blog. I’ve been definitely reading your book and absorbing the principles you’ve set forth. Frankly, I’ve always caught onto your vibration and never really let go of it.
Consistently bringing value to the WORLD is really the answer to most people’s problems whether it be money, or something else. I recently just connected with an old friend who turned his life around because he made himself valuable spiritually. But that is the same principle really. He was very “poor” spiritually and then created value and became “rich”.
This is a key principle that I think we all need to live by. Be a producer of value.

Right on point Ray! If you want more money, ask, How can I provide more value at work or to the people I serve. Easy, help more peoole and you will earn more money. You will also attract more money from places
