Content Marketing to Get Massive Sales

Just in case you are wondering what content marketing is…you are witnessing it right now!

Content marketing is the practice of creating online videos, livestreams, blog posts or articles to attract your ideal prospects or customers to you. Content marketers are constantly working on what problems exist for their potential customers and how can they help them by creating online content (videos/articles) to help them with those problems.

For the last seven years we have been content marketing on this site to help network marketers learn how to recruit more reps, get more leads and become top earners in their companies. We lead with free value then offer courses or coaching for those that want to dive deeper with us or work closer with us.

The truth is ANY business can do this and quite frankly should. Here are some suggestions that may help you make more sales by simply creating more content.

  1. In the book “Rework” by Jason Fried he suggests to “Out-Teach your Competition”. This is a motto we have lived by for years. Instead of just focusing on what kind of special sale can you offer, just step back and ask yourself what questions do your potential customers have or what struggles do they have that you and your product or service can help out with.   2. Every business owner I know wants more traffic to their website but rarely are willing to do the things that actually would guarantee they get more traffic. Our number one suggestion for getting more traffic is create content consistently. By watching our metrics and analytics we know that on the days where we produce a fresh piece of content that our information gets in front of 3,000 t0 10,000 more people versus the days we don’t create any content. IF you want to make more sales in ANY business, you need to get more eyeballs (traffic) on your offers. To get more eyeballs on your offers you need to start doing things in a way where people will want to check out what you are doing and you do that by providing value via your online content.
  3. Ask yourself “Who’s crushing it?” and I bet they are a content marketer. In our profession you have Eric Worre, Todd Falcone, Randy Gage and many others. Guess what? Most of them blog and blog consistently. When people ask me if they HAVE to blog to grow their business I nicely tell them that No, they don’t HAVE to but they also don’t HAVE to dominate. Nowadays I just don’t believe you can be in the top few percentage of any profession without you or your company creating content that educates or entertains.
  4. When do you actually make sales? When we were focused on becoming the number one income earners in a network marketing company, which we did through online and offline methods, when we wanted to recruit more people we would pump up the content and then follow this simple to understand formula – GL – > CL – > DN which stands for Generate Leads, Connect with Leads and then Determine Needs. I will tell you that when we talked about our company we generated fewer leads and made fewer sales. When we talked more about the problems that our target market faces we generated way more leads and just in numbers would recruit more people, this is probably contrary to how most people think. You do NOT need to talk about your company to make sales or get recruits. Focus on lead generation and then connection.
