Whoa! This title may sound a little harsh but maybe it will get you to realize that you can be, do or have anything you want…you just have to figure out that which you want! As a Coach in SWFL I get to talk to a lot of local business owners, speakers and consultants that are striving to do more in their job, career or life. A lot of times they are able to run down all the things they currently have in their life that they DO NOT want but they have a hard time making even a small list of what they want. Do this two step exercise and I guarantee it will change your life!

1) Write down 10-20 things you want in your life. If you have a hard time with this, that is usual, instead write down 10-20 things you currently have in your life that you DO NOT want and then…write the opposite! You also want to write that which you desire in present tense like you already have it. Why? Your mind really cannot tell the difference between what you believe you have and what you actually have. Let me give you some examples on how to write them:
Examples: If you are not happy with your current financial situation you may write “I am so happy and grateful now that I have an abundance of money”
or if you are not happy with your current weight…I am so happy that I have an awesome body and I am in such great shape!

2) Look at or write this list everyday. The action of doing it is very important and important to do everyday but MOST important is to FEEL the way you would feel if you already had that which you desire. Feel it! This is a feeling universe and the more closely you can get your emotions and feelings to be that which you would experience having it, you will attract the resources, thoughts and people into your life to make it a reality for you. Do this everyday.

What does this really do? ALL of our beliefs are really just neural networks in our mind. Some of these neural networks have been in our minds since we were children. If you believe you are bad at math, there is a neural network that has been developed that holds that belief. The good news is, you can build new neural networks, you can start believing OTHER beliefs. These powerful affirmations, done and FELT everyday, will change your chemical makeup overtime. Anyone can do these simple steps and change their life. And the best part, it’s free!
