First, See Yourself As A Business Owner
One thing that we tell network marketers all the time is, you’re a business owner.
You’re a professional.
Even if you don’t feel like you’re a professional, you are.
You are a business owner. Now, you may look at yourself as, “I’m just a network marketer.” But you own a business. And your business is an asset.
Last year, my wife and I, sold our network marketing business so we focus on our coaching and training.
If it wasn’t a business, could we have ever sold it? Of course not. It’s an actual asset.
In most companies, you are able to sell it as an asset, will it, or things of that nature.
So, I want you to start thinking like a professional.
What if you were a partner in a hundred million a year law firm?
If someone inquired about utilizing your personal services as an attorney, would you say things like, “Hey, I’ll reach out to you in the next few days?”
Or would you say, “You know what? I’m real busy. But, I believe I can talk to you on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. Will you be by your phone?”

You set the tone with every, what we call “engagement points.”
An Engagement Point: EVERY time you communicate with a human being with the goal of bringing them into your business as a customer or a rep.
