How To Treat Your Network Marketing Upline

When I worked in corporate America, the last 3 positions that I held required things that I didn’t possess. The last 3 positions that I had in the corporate world they required a bachelor’s degree, which I don’t even have an associates.

How’d I do that? Part of it was understanding the mantra of the corporate world. One of the mantras is to make your boss look good. In the corporate world and the corporate hierarchy, if you try to outshine your boss, you’re probably going to have some issues. You’re probably going to get sabotaged. You’re probably going to have bad things happen. That’s not the case in network marketing. I’m not saying, go outshine, necessarily. I’m saying outwork.

Outwork Your Upline

Are you kidding me? I never had an upline that outworked me. I never had an upline, upline, upline, upline that outworked me. Right? You should be totally outworking your upline.

You know what? You’re upline (if they’re smart) they’ll thank you. They’ll say, “Oh my Gosh. Wow. You’re doing so much. Congratulations. That’s awesome. Keep rocking!”

This is not corporate world. This is not where you have to honor, where you have to adhere and stay smaller than your boss. Go outwork them.

There should be no way that your upline can effect the speed of your downline because you should be filling in the gaps.

If they’re not doing enough webinars or meetings.

YOU go do the meetings.

If they’re not willing to get on calls with your team.

YOU get on the calls.

If they’re not willing to give you spill over (depending on if you’re in a binary or something like that)

YOU put people on both sides.

YOU must change your focus off what they aren’t doing and go to work!

If You Have A Good Upline

Let me just be clear. If you have a good network marketing upline that is wonderful! But, it’s not a requirement. I know so many people that have gone out and created MASSIVE success that had no upline. They had an upline that didn’t even call them back or had an upline that quit.
