mlm strategiesHow do you alter the type of marketing that you’re doing?

Maybe you’re marking about health and wellness and you realize that sick of talking about health and wellness and rather talk about business. Or vice versa. What do you do then?

In this training I will share exactly how to change up your marketing strategy.

MLM Strategies: How To Change Who You’re Marketing To

Super simple. Here’s what you do and it’ll sound really weird… Be vulnerable.

I can speak from experience on this. From 2004 to 2009, I was real estate. That’s all I talked about.

When I made that transition to network marketing, yeah I got some hate. I got some Haterades. I had some people saying, “Oh, couldn’t make it, huh? Hey, did you hear about that real estate guy that went network marketing? Loser.”

I got that kind of crap. You might too, depending on your size of audience.

But you’d be invulnerable in having an actual transition video where you say, “Hey gang, I just want to be a little vulnerable with you. For the last X number of years I’ve been marketing for skin care, or business, or whatever. And the truth is I’ve found that my real passion is to be talking about business or talking about weight loss or talking about working out, or biceps, or whatever.”

Just be honest. Be vulnerable.

Also, understand not everyone’s going to accept it, not everyone’s going to approve of it, and everyone’s got an opinion. Your bills aren’t paid by their opinions. And, that’s okay.

How To Launch

One of the common questions that I feel is related to this is, “Ray, how many blog posts should I do before I launch it to the world?”

You should have a, “Let me paint the journey and vision for you” in your first post. Instead of, “Hey, let me build up a bunch of assets and then I’ll market it.”

Take people on the journey with you.

Say, “Hey guys, my name is _____ and I’m just starting this blog post and here’s our plans. We’re going to do this, we’re going to do this, we’re going to take you to here, we’re going to help you with this, we’re going to do this. If you want to be a part of the journey, get on our email list, get our super cool gift, and we’re going to love on you and help you reach your goals.”

DON’T wait until you have 10, 15, 20 blog posts. The very first one should be, “Let me take you on the journey. Let me paint the picture of where we are all going together and why you should be hopping on the train.”

Don’t miss that opportunity. Vulnerability is lethal.

Why? Because so many people online are full of crap and they’re trying to position themselves as I’m big time.

I’ll tell you, when I was willing to be vulnerable and actually tell people that I’d gone through foreclosure, I think a lot of people changed how they looked at me and said, “Wow, that dude’s been through some tough times just like I have.”

If you’re constantly so worried about impressing people, then it’s going to prevent you from opening your heart. It’s going to prevent you from being vulnerable, which is the X factor.

What NOT to share

When being vulnerable, there are some things I did not share. And, in the video below I explain exactly what not to share.
