Are your prospects getting back to you in a timely manner?
If you want to increase your sign up rate, here is EXACTLY how to follow up with your network marketing prospect.
How To Follow Up With Network Marketing Prospects
Once you have sent your business opportunity to a person who asked for it, how do you follow up?
Well, it depends.
Now most times when people ask me this, they’re doing everything through Facebook Messenger. If you do all business through Facebook Messenger, you will miss a percentage of signups. But, this really depends on your level of communication.
The key is to analyze the emotional language of somebody else through Messenger. Which is definitely a skill.
I will take a look at people’s language patterns. And I can do this verbally or through text.
So, if someone says, “Hey, I just really need to see how to do it, and I really need for you to paint the vision.”
If I hear the words, or read the words, “see” and “vision”, I know they’re a visual type of person. And so, I will use that language pattern back on them. And I will use that vision language pattern back on them.
I’ll say, “Yeah. Definitely watch this video, ’cause it really paints the picture. And it really has you see what I’ve been seeing in the company all this time. And I really think that once you get a glimpse of what we’re talking about, you’re going to absolutely love it.”
I might say something like that.
If someone’s telling me, “Hey, you know what? I really just need someone to really take me by the hand and show me how to do it.”
If someone uses things like, “Take me by the hand,” or “really grasp it,” then I know that they’re more of a kinesthetic type of language pattern.
And, I might say things like, “Hey, I’d love to take you hand in hand, and really walk you through how to understand, how to do this step by step.”
I will use their language pattern back on them.
Now, if you’re a master communicator like that, then you’ll probably only miss about maybe 10% of the signups that you would have gotten, had you jumped on the phone.
If you’re NOT a master communicator like that, then you’ll lose 30% – 40% of the people that you could have recruited, if you didn’t get on the phone.
Getting Your Prospects On The Phone
Now some people just refuse to get on the phone. And long term, that’s a bad decision.
Keep in mind, when you relay a message, they have all the time in the world to contemplate what you just said. They have all the time in the world to think about a response, and really think of a clever one, or really take their time.

When I’m speaking to someone on the phone, I can tell very, very fast what to say. If I hear a sigh, or a big long pause, I know I’ve hit an emotional trigger point, and I know exactly what to say to get them on board.
So, if you’re NOT a master communicator, you’ll lose 30% – 40% of the recruits that you could have gotten, if you refuse to get on the phone.
