How to Brand Yourself when Brand New with No Results

How do you brand yourself when you’re brand new?

It’s actually simpler than you think. You focus on value. You focus on who is your target market, who are you trying to attract and what problems do they have?

For example, we know all the problems most network marketers have. They don’t know what to say to who. They don’t know how to find people. They don’t know what to motivate them to keep going. They don’t know what to say to teammates. They don’t know how to market at all because no MLM company teaches that.

There’s a lot of things that are problems to most network marketers. We know how to solve them and we provide that via our courses and products and seminars and coaching and masterminds, etc.

When you’re brand new and you’re wanting to brand yourself, focus on value. Focus on how do you help other people. You don’t have to have an impressive resume to help other people. Imagine, what if I got on here and instead of answering your questions and giving you my feedback and real world experience, what if I got on here and said, “Hello everybody, I’ve made millions in network market profession, best selling author, blah, blah, blah.” Who cares? Who cares about that stuff? That may be cool for someone who doesn’t know me to pay attention to me for 4 seconds but on that 5th second I better get into solving problems. I better get into helping them not pounding my chest on how awesome I am.

When you’re brand new, it may even be an advantage because you’re forced to focus on value, you’re forced to focus on problem solving, you’re forced to focus on them. It’s not about you. You can only rely on your resume for so long. Some people have been doing that for quite along time. Focus on problem solving. How can you help them? How can you add value to them? How can you inspire them? How can you entertain them, educate them, lift them up, help them see their greatness? How can you do that? You can do that in any niche whether it’s health and wellness, weight loss, skincare, travel, etc.

When brand new and you’re wanting to brand yourself, focus on value, solving problems, creating content that helps people. You don’t have to talk about your resume. You also don’t have to talk about your lack of a resume.

Years ago, when I first started blogging, I had to start my blogs out with, “Hey guys, this is Ray and I’m in personal foreclosure. I’m being chased by bill collectors and today I’m going to talk about lead generation.” If I did that people would be like, “I don’t think I want to listen to this guy.”
