Network Marketing Recruiting Mastery – Email Marketing Solutions

Some of you are going to thank me for this blog, not just because of how it helps you but also how it might slow the proliferation of mindless, crappy spam emails you receive from someone pitching their new amazing network marketing opportunity. This is the second in the series of network marketing recruiting mastery, how to communicate to people using email to get them excited to hear more about your opportunity.

Don’t be an email idiot – No License to Spam

We all get them. They are the completely ridiculous emails with the straight pitch and a link to join the challange, or the new ground floor opportunity or whatever. By the way, before you get mad at me, this is NOTHING against the different companies out there, this is solely aimed at its reps and their bad marketing. If you are EVER to get good at network marketing recruiting and you are choosing the Internet as a way to do that, you are going to have to go about things differently than the untrained idiots that think connecting with someone is having their email address and that it gives them the license to spam.

MLM Recruiting Success Through Email

So how can you have MLM recruiting success through email communications? Well, it isn’t by spamming your link or sales pitch, it is by connecting and then raising curiosity. If you spend the majority of your concentration when writing emails with the end goal to get prospects on the phone, you will be better off than most. Here are some rules for becoming better network marketing recruiters through email:

Rule 1: Do not send anyone an unsolicited link to your company page, ever. Some are thinking, WHAT?!? This is what my company tells me to do! More than likely your company’s marketing department has not been trained in copywriting or sales copy and your company page is just informative and will rarely, if ever, do the job of closing someone. Also, when directing someone to a page, there should be very few clickable options or they will wonder all over the page and then click away. Now, once you have raised curiosity, getting them to the company page may be great, especially if they are an analytic.

Rule 2: Do not try to close anyone through email unless you have built a very, very strong brand, and even then, use it sparingly. I write this rule to the people that would reply to this article with “But Ray, Slick Rick that lives on the beach of Grand Cayman doesn’t call anyone and they sponsor 50 people per day!” Let’s be real here. How is treating your business like you are slick Rick working? Slick Rick has created a massive brand that cannot be easily duplicated. The MLM recruiting tips I am providing here will help you no matter where you are in your career. Stop trying to be like Slick Rick and do the things that will guarantee you a profit.

Rule 3: Talk about the stuff that people really want in your emails. People want to hear about what type of training you have been on, where you hung out with your team and things other than the magical properties of your product or even money. A lot of marketers focus so much on commission promising marketing, it is absurd. It suggest that people only care about making money and that is not the case. It also sets up false expectations for most in that they will NEVER actually see the results this hype marketing suggests.

Focus on Connecting Through Email, not Closing

Now, keep in mind, I am writing this to the people aspiring to be better network marketing recruiters. This is not aimed at affiliate marketers that could care less if the people that buy from them actually do anything or make money. When you are newer and do NOT have a big team, you can be more intimate but most new marketers act like they are bigger and try to be less intimate, this is a HUGE mistake. When you are newer, do not be afraid of spending good amounts of time with your prospects and teammates. Connect through email. My sponsoring course talks about insta-mirroring through email but still suggests getting on the phone with your prospects. Here are some sample “PS lines” that have worked for me.

PS: Looking to train three people on how to create an income using Facebook, reply back if you are open or interested

PS: just put together an email marketing ebook to help my teammates, let me know if this would help you

PS: putting together a mastermind of team members to game plan for next year, reply back if you would like to be considered

When people reply, tell them you would like to chat on the phone, then, you can tell them that it is only open to people on your team and at that point, if they are interested, you can send them a link. Follow the above advice and you will be on your way to becoming one of those super duper network marketing recruiters!
