What do you say when someone says, “Wow, that’s expensive”?
In this training I will share just how to manage this network marketing objection and get your prospect to see value in your offer.
Network Marketing Objection: What To Say When Your Prospect Thinks It’s Too Expensive
So, you’ve shown them your product or service and they say “Whoa there. BOY, that’s pricey.”
First of all, know that there’s a little bit of unspoken energy there. If someone has big respect for you, they’re probably not gonna say it in that manner.
They would probably say something a little bit more respectful. Like “Wow, that’s a little bit more than I thought.” Or something like that.
When you play the price game, you want to first manage the energy.
Manage The Energy
Now, where people fail at this in network marketing is they will try to say something generic, bland and boring like “You can’t put a price on your health.”
And that is NOT an effective line.
I don’t think anyone in the history of mankind has ever said “You can’t put a price on your health,” and their prospect say “You know what, you’re right. You can’t put a price on it, let me go ahead and buy that thing.”
So here’s what I would suggest:
When it comes to this sort of thing, I handle it in an energy kind of way.
I would say:
“You know, to be honest, there’s about everything out there that you can get for cheaper. And to be honest, when I approached you, I really see you as a quality type of person. And, I don’t know about you, but a lot of times I’ve bought cheaper things in my life that I regretted buying. I regretted going low on the price. You seem to me like a quality type person that would want something of high quality, which is what this is.”
Now how does that make someone feel? It kind of makes them feel good.
If you can position someone in a way of being, they will more likely make the decisions similar to what that being would make.
What about comparing the other product/service? Many trainers have a different outlook on this than me.
In the video below, I explain how I compare the other product or service to make mine seem like the BEST option.
