Lessons from Jordan Belfort, Wolf of Wall Street
Last night I drove up to Clearwater to learn from and meet Jordan Belfort, the Wolf of Wall Street.
Inside this short video I share one big lesson I learned that may impact YOU and your journey.
Who is Jordan Belfort?
Jordan Belfort is the inspiration behind the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” played by Leonardo Dicaprio based on the true story of Jordan’s life. Jordan Belfort is a big thinking entrepreneur that is a master trainer in sales and closing that made some terrible ethical decisions along the way and ended up in jail after building his personal income to almost one million dollars a week selling stocks. Since his jail time he spends his time traveling around the country teaching and training people his sales strategies and IF you are someone who can look past someone’s past and still learn from them, well, he’s a damn good trainer. (If you’d like to learn more of his story, his book is a fascinating read although I learned a lot more from his second book Catching the Wolf of Wall Street.
I do say this in the video as I am sure some sensitive to this topic may object, I am NOT condoning his past behavior nor do I idolize him. I simply believe he is an incredible thinker when it comes to scaling and his sales training is powerful. And on that note, the dude is VERY straight about his past behavior and did serve time and is paying back the victims, personally, I think he needs a break from those still holding his past against him.
