Justin Timberlake I Heart Radio Speech..Inspiring!

 

Last night Justin Timberlake gave a great speech at the 2015 I Heart Radio awards and I think you will be inspired.

We don’t do much pop culture stuff on this site but thought you would really like this one.

You Might Want to Watch This…

Ever been called weird or different? I sure have. In fact, most of my life I’ve been told my dreams were crazy or the things I were attempting would never work out. The sad thing is most of the people that told me things would not work out were in authority positions over me like older friends, teachers, etc.

Last night Justin Timberlake gave an amazing acceptance speech at the I Heart Radio awards ceremony and it was just too good to not share with you.

Let me Share some Takeaways from his Video…

First of all, being different means you can make a difference. If you are just doing the same thing as everyone else, can you ever really make a BIG difference? I love how humble Justin Timberlake was accepting his award too, incredible dude. Notice who he thanked? He thanked his team essentially, at least I didn’t know hardly any of them so I assume they are his personal team not a huge roster of celebrities but the people he works with everyday.

He also quoted Steve Jobs from his Stanford address and suggested to Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish, if you haven’t watched that, where the heck have you been? You can watch it below if you haven’t already.

and lastly Justin Timberlake shared this quote from Theodore Roosevelt, one of my absolute favorites:

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.” – Theodore Roosevelt

It is sometimes in the times that we think about quitting and the times where no one is supporting our goals that we find our true selves. Know that you can accomplish anything you want if you just stay the path. Here’s to you staying the path, be sure to share this with someone who could use some inspiration.
