It is very easy and common for those struggling to look upon those of success and think about how easy the successful people have it. They wish that they had their life or felt what it was like to have such an easy life. What they don’t know is the pain, struggle and obstacles that most successful people HAD to go through to get to where they are.
People will always want to have what you have when you are successful, they just won’t have to have to go through what you did.
From being dead broke twice in my life, experiencing personal foreclosure, coming from an abused childhood, going through divorce, life hasn’t always been peaches and cream but those things literally had to happen to make me who I am today. Those things happened to me to help me learn to become who I am today and place me on a platform of teaching others how to overcome their bad times.
Now I fully realize that compared to some my life has been easy, but I don’t wish away any of the pain. I think Michael Beckwith says it best when he said “Forgiveness is giving up on the fact that the past could have been any different.”
Know that if life is hard right now, tough times don’t last, they really don’t, especially when you stay focused on WHO you want to become and WHY you started this journey in the first place. Remember that so long as you have blood running through your veins, YOU still have purpose and it may just be to change the life of someone you meet along the way. YOU are valuable and are wanted on this planet, so please, keep going and keep believing that life will become better if you are going through tough times.
