It’s kind of like asking can I mow my lawn without using one of those pesky riding lawnmowers?

Well, yeah sure.

You can use a weed whacker. You can use scissors, you can use a push lawn mower. You can get one of those propelled ones. Or you can cover a lot more ground by having a riding lawn mower.

That’s exactly how I see someone trying to build a business. Many built humongous businesses before the internet even existed and without doing live videos. You just have to work 10x harder.

What does that mean?

That means you have to be better at copy. That means you have to be better at scripts. That means you have to reach out to more people. It means you have to work.

It’s like can you win a bodybuilding competition without going to the gym?

Yeah, but you going to work hard. You’re probably going to work harder actually than the people in the gym with the proper equipment that just builds the right muscles.

So yes you can build a business without doing live videos, but you will have to work much harder.

Live video is so powerful because now you don’t need fancy equipment. It’s one button. Anyone can do that. Not everyone will, but everyone can.

And so yes, you can build a big business online without doing live video, if you want to make things harder. If you’re like, you know what, I kind of like pain. I kind of like pain and I like the idea of working harder.

If you want to work really, really hard, harder than actually necessary, then don’t do video. You just have to message more people. You have to get better at copywriting because you’re going to have to write things in a different matter.

And believe me when I say it is harder to write compelling sales copy than it is to do a good enough video that gets people to reach out to you.

So yes, you can certainly build a big business without doing live videos. You’re just going to have to work harder.
