Leaders often think that they need to create a fun team culture in order to move the needle.
That isn’t always true. Here’s my tips:
How To Create a Fun Team Culture
A question I often get is – “What are some things introverts can do to foster a fun team culture?”
So, first of all, I think introverts have a much higher chance actually, by default, to get more duplication, because they will rely on resources and tools and the system more than their personality or their charisma.
The mega extroverts, they walk into the bar, everyone knows their name. A lot of people don’t feel they can be that person. A lot of people feel that they have a leg up and, “I can’t be you. Easy for you to say.”
So introverts are more going to say, “I can’t explain it as well as a video. A video does a good job.” And that’s how you’ll get more duplication.
One thing to understand about creating a fun team culture is it’s not just up to the leader. But I would encourage leaders to locate the people that are just fun people and deputize them.
So those are just a few of the things to remember when thinking about creating a fun team culture.
I’m sharing some more of my thoughts in this training below, so check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.
