Today we’re going to talk about how to start an internet business from home.

12 years ago, I started a small internet business from home and it grew into something much more.

We’ve actually been able to generate tens of millions of dollars online, built an INC 5000 company, became a best-selling author and so I’m going to share with you some of the components that you need to have in place for you to start your business.

So, first I’m going to talk about what are the major components that you just absolutely have to have for an internet business.

Next, I’m going to share with you what is the big obstacle that most people face and you’re very likely to face and last I’m gonna share with you the easiest way to get started.

It’s actually how I started and it’s something that I highly recommend to most people wanting to start a business from home.

What Do You Need To Get Started?

So what are the components that you need to start this internet business?

Figure Out The Problem You Are Solving

Well, you need to figure out what problem are you solving or what desire are you helping people to attain?

Are you helping them with their taxes?
Are you helping them with losing weight?
Maybe you have advice
Maybe you’re an information marketer

I think more people need to be information marketers and I’ll give you an example.

Where Most People Get Stuck:

I have a friend Brad was a pretty successful realtor you know he’s making a couple hundred thousand dollars a year.

I said, “Dude, you need to have like you know eBooks and like you know information on how to be a successful realtor.”

And, his answer was “Ray, there’s a lot of people more successful than me.”

I said “Yeah, that’s not who you’re selling to. You’re selling to all the realtors who have yet to move their first home or people that are making less than you, that’s who you could easily help out because you’ve been them.”

When it comes to the realm of solving problems, a lot of times you’re actually going to solve the problems of who you used to be.

Help the person that you used to be.

Once upon a time, you hadn’t sold anything.

What would you tell yourself?

For many people, that becomes a passion project of helping you, helping the former you with where you used to be.

You Have To Accept Payment

You have a way to accept payments. And, there are multiple ways to accept payment.

NOT all payment methods are the same.

PayPal isn’t your long-term solution usually because they usually tend to have higher fees and if you’re doing any kind of coaching or consulting, I personally wouldn’t use PayPal.

Are you going to wrap every you know shirt or whatever it is that you’re selling or do you have a fulfillment service?

There’s a lot of components that go toward having an internet-based business.

What will be your biggest obstacle?

On the days I didn’t feel like showing up, I had to show up, that wasn’t an option. And so it’s okay to be tough on yourself if it’s driving you to action that’s going to allow you to reap results and reap rewards but it’s not okay to just beat yourself up for no reason at all. The Easiest Way To Start An Internet-Based Business

Now lastly, I want to share with you what’s the easiest way to get started with an internet-based business from home.

And, that is joining a network marketing business.

When I got serious about network marketing, I’d lost it all in real estate.

In 2009, I’m dead broke, personal foreclosure, being chased by bill collectors, I’d gone through a divorce and there are a couple of credit cards I have left. I haven’t figured out I’m not paying them and I’m like you know what?

I’m gonna do this because no one’s hiring, my credit is shot, I don’t have money to you know buy a big business or a franchise or something like that but a few hundred bucks, I can do that.

I joined a network marketing company and I got to work. I start applying a powerful daily routine.

Long story short, I got to $10,000 a month my fifth month in.

$50,000 a month my seventh month.

Then became the #1 income earner in that company, making millions of dollars with that company.

This little you know internet-based business has now generated over 30 million dollars in revenue and we’ve helped thousands of people all over the world but it came, it started with network marketing.

Benefits of Network Marketing

Now, one of the benefits of network marketing is you have one job.

You don’t have to figure out a shopping cart or merchant account, you don’t have to figure out what is your refund policy, you don’t have to figure out trademarks, copyrights, patents, supply chain management, human resources, how to ship across state lines or country lines. You don’t have to figure out any of that stuff, software.

All you have to do is say “Hey, are you open and take a look at what I’m doing?” And point.

You point people to the video or you point people to your sample or whatever it is that you’re promoting and you’re learning a lot of the skills that by the way, you would use in any other business.
