Affiliate Marketing vs Network Marketing, Which One's Better

When searching for the best way to build your home based business, you may run into a couple options, affiliate marketing and network marketing. Which one is better? Which one can generate a larger income? In the video in this post I will expose the difference between the two.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is typically pursuing commissions from products you are affiliating yourself with. This is typically single level commissions meaning you make X if Bob buys but if Bob sells you do not make anything. It is also typically non residual creating (although sometimes you can find affiliate offers that have a small residual).

What is Network Marketing?

Network Marketing you are affiliating yourself with a product/company and you have the ability to earn multiple levels of commissions and is mainly useful for creating a residual income.

Which should you choose?

Well, it depends on what your goals are and what you like to do. I believe anyone can learn to do either regardless of their skill level or experience. In my opinion, network marketing is more of a fit for people that like working with and helping people whereas affiliate marketing is better suited for those that would rather make a sales and be done with it. If you are like me and love to see someone you coach and help reach large levels of success, network marketing may be the better fit.

Beware!

There are affiliate marketers disguised as network marketers all over. If you decide to join one of them, you may not reach the level of success you want to achieve. (some will send me hatemail for saying this but others will thank me)
