My family and I are enjoying our winter vacation to Disney and thought of you and your desire to reach your New Year Goals.

Test Number 1 for your Goals for the New Year
Did you write down your New Year Goals? Did ya?
You may have heard that a Harvard or Yale study proved that writing down your goals increases your chances of attaining them. While that may be true, turns out there never was an actual study at Harvard or Yale to substantiate that exact claim. Check out this neat article I found about this topic – Dominican Study
This WAS an actual study and found that that people who wrote down their goals, shared this information with a friend, and sent weekly updates to that friend were on average 33% more successful in accomplishing their stated goals than those who merely formulated goals.
So, did you write down your goals for 2014 yet?
New Year Goal Setting
Now, before I share what is SUPER important that is in todays video, one quick exercise (don’t dwell on it) is to identify WHY you may not have hit your goals last year.
Again, don’t dwell on it, and the video touches on this today, but why didn’t you? Was it lack of accountability? Commitment? Action? I recently wrote this on my Facebook page…
