Have Posture

Posture is the belief in what you have regardless of external acceptance or approval.

It means, no matter how hard the wind blows the mountain never sways. (That’s a Buddha quote, I didn’t come up with that.)

But, no matter how hard the wind blows the mountain never sways. It’s a freaking mountain.

So, I am freaking mountain. I don’t need someone’s acceptance or approval. I don’t need someone to tell me like, “Oh, yeah, you should totally be doing that.”

On the phone, many times, I have had someone playing hardball with me and they were not following my directions. Guess what?

If they’re not following my directions when I’m prospecting, do you think they’ll follow my directions when they’re in my team?

Are they going to fight me the entire time? Are they going to create drama in the team? Yeah, they are. They’re NOT a rule follower. And, if they keep telling me, “Tell me what it is. I’m not going to watch the video,” that’s not part of my system. You get kicked out of my system.

I’m willing to let them go.

No matter how hard the wind blows, the mountain never sways.

I don’t sway. This is my system, this is my team, this is how I build. I’m not swaying to what every prospect’s whims.
