KayLee Fisher: How to attract the right leads who are ready to sign up immediately. Bridget, great question.
So when it comes to attracting right leads that are ready to sign up immediately, first you have to be able to believe that you are someone that can attract leads that are ready to sign up immediately. Secondly, is to let go of your need or let go of the need to only attract people that are ready to sign up immediately. It’s been proven that people need multiple exposures to what you have to offer. Follow up is key, right? Follow up is key.
And the best thing that you can do is consistently provide value and get these people watching you, and sharing stories about people in your company that have had success with products or with the opportunity. Because one day you may speak to what that person needs. You may speak to a situation that they’re in.
Also understand that you can’t control people and you can’t decide for them. So I would say prospecting is going to be huge, because that’s active marketing. That’s something that you can control when you’re saying things like, “Attract people that are ready to sign up.” That’s passive marketing. Passive marketing means you’re putting marketing out there, hoping that it generates a response from people. And you can’t control that.
But what you can control is your prospecting and how much you prospect. And where you’re finding the people that you’re prospecting, and your follow-up. Those are things that you can control. That’s your active marketing.
As far as passive marketing goes, you just can’t control people that are ready to sign up right now. You can’t control the decisions that people make. But the thing that’s going to help you is talk to more people. Consistently share stories of people that are finding success in your business. I’m not talking people that are rags to riches in six months. I’m talking about the bus driver that’s able to take his little girl to the ball game on Memorial Day. I’m talking about the teacher that didn’t have any problem filling her classroom with supplies, because of her side business. I’m talking about the girl who lost five pounds in one month and is feeling more confident. Those are the stories that you want to share. The relatable ones, the ones that are believable.
Again, how to attract the right people to join your tribe? Anytime it comes to attracting, getting clear on what you want is going to be very important. What do you want? Who is the right person for your tribe? What is your tribe? Get clear on those things. What type of person would be a perfect fit for your tribe? What kind of culture are you trying to cultivate? What type of people do you want contributing to that culture?
Because if you don’t know the answer to those questions and you aren’t clear on the culture that you’re trying to provide in the tribe that you are creating, if you’re not clear on those things, then it’s going to be really hard to attract the right person, because you’re not going to know who the right person is.
Now I’m not saying that you should take time and devise all of this out instead of prospecting. No. Prospect, follow up, provide value. That should be the basis of everything that you’re doing every single day. Then if you have five or 10 minutes, sit down and get clear on what is your tribe? What type of people make it up? Who would contribute to it? Who is your perfect business partner?
