MLM Guru Larry Thompson
Yesterday I got back from a powerful day with Taylor and Larry Thompson and wanted to share my notes with you. He is a guru of an MLM Guru and his training was the very best I have ever received in this industry.
Who the Heck is Larry Thompson?
Larry has over 45 years of experience in the Network Marketing industry. Him and Mark Hughes started Herbalife out of the trunks of their car and together they built it into a billion dollar company, just to be attacked by the government, lose almost everything, and then within five years build it right back to a billion dollar company.
My company, Numis Network, has hired Larry Thompson as a consultant to personally train myself and the other leaders. As usual Ray, you provide the most value and you give it away for free. Thank you so much for doing what you do, even though you don’t have to! The 10 pennies was awesome! I’m particularly attuned to pennies as they are the lifeblood of my own particular MLM. There was a quote by Eric Thomas, the hip hop preacher, he said we are just going to 99 cent our way to millionaires lol.

Biggest things you shared that stood out for me Ray where:
1. Ten Penny a day strategy – Love the simplicity
2. The Days you don’t feel like prospecting are the days you get the most
3. Can’t make up the days I’ve missed, can only get back on track.

Excellent sharing! I do appreciate your sharing! The point about using stories is powerful. A leader in our orgainization has helped an elderly lady to earn $1000 a month. This is only done by sharing with others the efficacy of the products! Storying telling is a powerful tool.

Excellent sharing! There are so much wisdom in Larry’s training.
I love the idea about using stories to relate our message. I have a collection of stories for the products and the business opportunity that I can use to share with the prospects. For example, when talking to a housewife, I would share how another housewife used one year’s focused effort to reach a decent full time income.
As Dani Johnson also says agagin and again, “Facts Tell; Stories Sell.”. The late Jim Rohn is a master in story telling.
Success stories can be shared to keep team members inspred too! Having said that, I could not agree more about the continual recruiting strategy. This is specially important if the Compensation Plan is a binary one. New team members cannot leverage on our effort if we stop recruiting! Simple logic!

Stories are amazingly powerful. Chris Brogan suggested bringing your story, or your dreams, or your life to your blog. So I began posting photos from my current trip through Southeast Asia to each blog post. On EVERY post.
Bali, Phuket, Vietnam…then 2 days ago I totally redid my header. I added a photo of me in front of a tropical, mystery location. Along with a neat little opt-in bait. Stories. My story. My dream. I am selling my story and my dreams, to people who love the story and dream the dreams.

Awesome post, Ray. I like it when leaders like yourself open up and share your notes with others. You’ll find out that the more you share with people, the more you will receive. One thing that stuck out from the video was the ten penny a day philosophy. It’s not an easy concept to talk to 10 people consistently on a daily basis but it’s powerful if one can get it done.

I used Larry at my early stages of my MLM courier to train my team every Saturday afternoon some 20 years ago. He’s a very effective and powerful trainer/ mlmer.
He thought me so much back then and I credit much of who I’m today because of him and his training. I still use it all and guess what? It still works:)

I have always hated pushing the money and prefer to share
the stories. I find that mention of money immediately scares
folks. They expect for you to through promises at them and run.
My former career taught me that people identify with a personal
story. Self disclosure is powerful.
