Why people struggle with MLM prospecting

There is a science behind it. It is NOT guesswork. There are certain things that greatly increase your chances of sponsoring someone and also things that can greatly decrease your chances. For the first time ever, I took the time to assign a point system to your actions. This is based on being the #1 income earner in my company, having recruited over 500 people lifetime, coached hundreds of people and having done hundreds of three way calls. If you are not prospecting you are probably not making money. If you are not prospecting correctly, you are probably working much harder than you should be.     I was secretly hoping you’d record this training because I had some family friends from out of the country in town, so I couldn’t attend the training. Then when you put it up I was like yesss!

    Great video though, honestly I suck at prospecting, I guess it’s more fear than anything else. This training will hopefully help me break out of my box =)

    Great training video! How would you do a conversation interrupt technique if you initiated a cold call to a business card you picked up and asked if they would be open to a side project? Also, you mentioned you are a machine-in order to go BIG would you suggest putting on blinders and going all out? Also, congratulations on your Ambassadorship. Sincerely, George

    Funny you ask that, the optin on this actual blog (10 ways to get 50 leads per day), I talk about business card prospecting. In that method you have to appear busy but also qualifying. Too many people will spend all day on the phone with them

    Ray, of course you know I made MANY of these mistakes with negative point scores, thankfully, I have SCALES on my skin because I take criticism without becoming defensive, with a view to never repeat the mistake.

    You mentioned that to get to Ambassador you needed to have 2 five-stars below you. This is probably the single thing I like MOST about MLM and Numis. You don’t succeed AT someone’s expense. You succeed BECAUSE of their success.

    Having had the privilege to meet with you, listen to many of your presentations, blah blah blah – I must tell those who do not know you in person that you are authentic.

    This presentation ROCKS!!!! RAY ROCKS!!! There you go, the name of your teaching nuggets from here on in my books are: Ray Rocks.
    Rock 1: Don’t talk too much
    Rock 2: Be brief and be busy
    Etc. With a foundation of Ray Rocks, who wouldn’t feel empowered?
