Audio Interview with
VaNessa on Never Quitting

never quitting

Network Marketing is a business that I believe people never actually fail, they either succeed or they quit and give up. I believe if anyone works hard enough on themselves they will have success in this business. Listen in on this interview with VaNessa and her story of never quitting.

VaNessa paid to Join Her Company THREE Times!

In the last three years VaNessa Duplessie joined her network marketing company, didn’t have success, quit, joined later on, didn’t have success, quit, then joined a third time recently and THIS time is finally having success!

VaNessa has gone from ZERO success in three years to enrolling seven executives this month and helping two of those executives recruit two people each…How did she do it?

The Art of Never Quitting

Perhaps one of the very best pieces of literature on never quitting was written by Og Mandino. I HIGHLY suggest picking up anything written by this man and devouring it. I present to you, “I will persist until I succeed”

“I was not delivered unto this World in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins.  I will hear not those who weep and complain, for their disease is contagious.  The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny.

The prizes of life are at the end of each journey, not near the beginning; and it is not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal.  Failure I may still encounter at the thousandth step, yet success hides behind the next bend in the road.  Never will I know how close it lies unless I turn the corner.

never quitting

Og Mandino

I will be likened to the rain drop which washes away the mountain, the ant that devours a tiger, the star which brightens the earth, and the slave who builds a pyramid.  I will build my castle one brick at a time for I know that small attempts, repeated, will complete any undertaking.  I will persist until I succeed.

I will never consider defeat and I will remove from my vocabulary such words and phrases as quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, failure, unworkable, hopeless, and retreat.  I will avoid despair but if this disease of the mind should infect me then I will work on in despair.  I will toil and I will endure.

I will remember the ancient law of averages and I will bend it to my good.  Each frown I meet only prepares me for the smile to come.  Each misfortune I encounter I will carry in it the seed of tomorrow’s good luck.  I must have the night to appreciate the day.  I must fail often to succeed only once.  I will persist until I succeed.

Never will I allow any day to end with a failure.  Thus I will plant the seed of tomorrow’s success and gain an insurmountable advance over those who cease their labor at a prescribed time.  When others cease their struggle, then mine will begin, and my harvest will be full.

Nor will I allow yesterday’s success to lull me into today’s complacency, for this is the greatest foundation of failure.  I will forget the happenings of the day that is gone, whether they were good or bad, and greet the new sun with confidence that this will be the best day of my life.

So long as there is breath in me, that long will I persist?  For I know one of the greatest principles of success – if I persist long enough, I will win.

I will persist!  I will win!”

  1. Hi Ray,

Awesome stuff by Og and Vanessa Ray!

I learned all I know by persisting. If you keep at it you get it.

Since a fair number of folks try to jump over to my team – who are already in the program – I am not allowed to take any current members on unless they pay their admin fee and re-pledge.

I see the winners right away. They say, hell yeah, I’m in, and pony up. The failures simply refuse to pay, and fail.

Persist like hell. Do whatever it takes. Keep trying.

If you just keep at it you will learn so much about yourself, and your craft. You will acquire new information daily. You will gain new sources of inspiration.

New strategies. New ideas. New friends. New team members. New subscribers.

All because you stuck with it.

People fail because they simply give up too soon. Never be that person. Keep going. Magical things will happen for you.

    Thanks Ray!

  7. Great post Ray, love that piece by Og. VaNessa Duplessie has a great story. It is so important for everyone that is chasing a dream to know that it is not about anyone else. It is about the person in the mirror. Once you get your head and activity in the right way, all things are possible. Invest in yourself and stay after it no matter how long it takes.

  10. Og Mandino lost a great author and inspirational individual when he passed away. I have read every one of his books and while I am not as successful as I want to be, I am successful because I have a positive outlook and attitude. Each of us were given different gift and talents at birth and while some lay dormant and are never developed, others take them and use them to their fullest extent.

Og was an individual who made us see “differently” and that there are no failures as far as gifts and talents. His scrolls and writings should be read by everyone….

  11. Hi Ray, Thank you so much for this inspirational success story. All network marketers should honestly ask themselves if they DO believe that what they have in hand can help people. Helping others is the key to VaNessa's success. Ray, I appreciate your sharing!

  12. Hi Ray,

I appreciate your sharing! Although many network marketers know in the heart of heart that they should not quit, many still do! VaNessa’s story can help to save some who are comtemplating quiting!

Persist until success. No doublt at all. In our company, there is this leaders who advanced rank after two of his own team members did. Recently, his persistence paid off as he recruited a true leader from the cold market. Break through any obstacles (fear, excuses, people skill, etc) and share.

I totally agree with VaNessa that if we don’t share, someone will :) It is only natural for people to share great experiences with others!

  16. Hey Ray,

Great post – there are so many people that are so close in being successful that they need to just stick with it just a little bit longer –

The key to success is not giving up, taking action every single day and having the desire to be successful more than anything else, including breathing. If you find yourself thinking about your business around the clock and actually using this energy in a good way, you will find success, it may take weeks, months or even years, but you will find it!

Og Mandino is a man of wisdom, he knows what is needed to be successful, VaNessa quit twice and then rose from the ashes to what is now remarkable success.

Well done VaNessa, we can all be inspired by your story.
